Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a continuation of the Black Liberation Movement (BLM) from the 1950s. The UK chapter is legally named Black Liberation Movement.

The Black Liberation Movement was created by Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Communists.

BLM co-founder, Patrisse Cullors, declares “We are trained Marxists”.

In case it wasn’t clear the first time, she later reconfirms that she is a Marxist.

When asked in 2018, “What skillsets are required to build a movement?” Khan-Cullors responded:

“I went through a year-long organizing program at the National School for Strategic Organizing (NSSO), and it was led by the Labor Community Strategy Center. We spent the year reading, anything from Marx, to Lenin, to Mao, learning all types of global critical theory and about different campaigns across the world, and most importantly every day, five days a week we were out on the ground actively recruiting people into the organization we were in, as a way to learn how to bring people in, how to keep them in an organization. There’s an entire skillset to this.”

The BLM founders are outspoken supporters of the Communist regime in Venezuela.

George Floyd died while a police officer kneeled on his neck. The autopsy determined that he had a fatal dose of Fentanyl in his blood.

Nonetheless, pretending there was no fatal dose of Fentanyl, let’s assume the police officer asphyxiated him. How often does this occur in the United States? What are the statistics of unarmed black men being killed by police officers?

In Minneapolis, where George Floyd died, a total of zero unarmed black men were killed by police officers in 2019.

In the United States, a total of 12 unarmed black people were killed by police officers in 2019. That is 1 out of 4 million black people.

Note that being unarmed doesn’t mean not life threatening.

An unarmed black person has 8 times higher chance of being struck by lightning than being killed by a police officer (1 in 500,000).

George Floyds death was a statistical outlier, not a common occurrence.

The police officers' actions were immediately and universally condemned. The officer was arrested and charged without hesitation. Nonetheless, ultra violent riots were triggered in Democrat controlled cities across the United States. BLM called for defunding the police, and some are calling for total abolition of the police.

Hundreds of businesses were looted, destroyed, burned to the ground, including businesses owned by black people and other minorities.

At least 30 people were killed by BLM rioters, including a black police officer.

The mainstream media encouraged more rioting across major cities, including Washington DC. This continued for 5 months.

BLM protests spread around the world, across the UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Statues were toppled around the world, including statues of Abraham Lincoln.

Streets in Scotland were “renamed”.

Activists screamed at restaurant diners to raise their fist in solidarity.

Arson, vandalism and looting resulted in up to $2 billion of paid insurance claims.

People lost their jobs for merely criticizing this collective insanity.
